Jeff is a 1984 graduate of Southern Methodist University Law School. He began trying cases immediately after graduation and by 1989 had tried enough jury trials to become board certified in civil trial law at age 29.
About the same time, he became partners with Bob Sullivan and they have been partners ever since.
Jeff’s practice consists primarily of trial work on both sides of the docket in business, complex family law matters, personal injury and probate / Guardianship litigation.
Jeff is married to Lisa Cook and they are long time residents of Southlake, Texas. He has four children. Jeff’s hobbies primarily involve hunting and horses. Jeff is active in many conservation organizations, including being a life member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. Jeff has hunted and guided on 22 safaris in South Africa and Namibia. Jeff has operated Widowmaker Trail Rides, a horseback riding business since 2002. Jeff is also a licensed guide in Wyoming and personally guides wilderness horseback elk hunts each October since 1996. Finally, Jeff manages and is the head guide for the Double A Ranch, a premier private land elk hunting operation in Hayden, Colorado.
