Barbara has been practicing family law exclusively for more than 40 years in the Tarrant county area. Board- Certified in Family Law in 1989, Barbara has been honored by her colleagues and peers as a Super Lawyer every year from 2003-2021. This distinction by Thomson Reuter and published in Texas Monthly sets Barbara apart from the crowd. Barbara has earned the distinction of Top Attorney by Fort Worth, Texas – The City’s Magazine from 2001-2020. Additionally, Barbara has been recognized by the “Best Lawyers in America” from 2019-2023, and was honored with the “Lawyer of the Year” award from 2022-2023 from Family Law in Dallas/Fort Worth by Best Lawyers in America.
Barbara dedicates her practice to strategizing and supervising complex and complicated divorce actions where she is most effective protecting her client’s children and financial resources.

Barbara was born and raised in North Texas where most of her family still reside and when she is not involved in practicing law, she enjoys her new passion, quarter horse breeding and racing throughout Louisiana, Texas and New Mexico.
