Bob was born in Mineral Wells, Texas, grew up in Fort Worth, Texas, and served as Military Police in the U.S. Air Force. Bob attended TCU and graduated Baylor Law School. Bob has practiced law for more than 30 years. Over the years, areas of practice have included banking, business litigation, family law, and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Bob is a past member of the College of the State Bar of Texas, has had a Martindale-Hubbell AV rating for many years and has, for more than 12 years, been named a Texas Super Lawyer by Texas Monthly magazine, representing only 5% of the lawyers in Texas chosen by peer voting.

Bob served 6 years as a member of the State Bar of Texas Family Law Council, the Family Law Council Pro-Bono Committee and as a past member of the Texas State Bar Family Law Pattern Jury Charges Committee. He has been a lecturer and writer on banking and family law issues.

Bob is married to Teri Sullivan, has three grown sons, two stepsons and four grandchildren. He is an avid golfer and an active horse and cattle rancher in Palo Pinto, Texas.
